Voice Mail - Basic

What It Does

Put missed calls and misplaced messages behind you forever!

Voicemail is a virtual telephone answering system.
It records all your calls for you when you can't get
to the phone.

It's virtual because voicemail allows you to check
messages either from home or away.

Voicemail records messages when you're away from
home, on the phone, or online.

Your messages are private and protected by your
own individual 4-digit password.

How It Works
  1. To setup your voicemail for the first time, contact
Nicholville Telephone Company's business office to
    initiate the service.

  2. Once the service is activated, dial *99 from the
phone with the feature. Follow the voice prompts.
When the system asks for your PIN number, enter
    "0000" and follow the prompts.

  3. To retrieve your messages:

    • From the phone with voicemail, dial *99 or
389-9255. Enter your 4-digit password and
      follow the prompts.

    • When you are away, dial 389-9255
(or 315-389-9255 if outside 315 area code)
to retrieve your messages. When prompted
for your voicemail box number, enter the
7-digit number of the phone with the
voicemail feature. Enter your 4-digit password
      and follow the prompts.

    • To access your voicemail box from the web go to:
      http://vm.slic.com/. Enter the 7-digit number
of the phone with the voicemail feature as well as
the 4-digit password and click "Login".
