Warm Line service activates a call to a phone number of your choice when it is taken off the hook for more than 30 seconds.
This allows family members to simply pick up the handset as a signal for help in the case of emergency.
When the phone is off the hook for 30 seconds, a call is placed to a preset number. This feature improves security and safety whether for children or seniors.
How It Works
First, call the Nicholville Telephone Company business office to activate the service.
We will record the phone number of your choice for incoming calls to be sent. Programmed phone numbers may be changed upon request.
To activate, user simply picks up the telephone handset and let it sit idle off the hook for 30 or more seconds. Ringing will begin after 30 seconds.
